POLLINATOR HIGHWAY
Project initiator: Competence Centre for Spatial Design at the Tallinn Strategic Management Office
Pollinator Highway is a biodiverse meadowy natural habitat, a green corridor connecting different parts of town and acting as a mobility space for citizens. It traverses six city districts. Pollinator Highway runs along the former railway dam and the current high-voltage powerline corridor. Directing the high-voltage lines into an underground cable releases enough potential for a citywide linear park.
