What would an architectural journal be without photos to explicate architectural space? Can a photo be more revealing and polyvalent than the architecture it conveys?
The London-based photographers David Grandorge and Jonathan Lovekin have researched the altering terrain of Baltic states showing how industry and transport shape the landscapes.
This photo series offers some visual background to the emotional debate that has captivated society. The photos were taken in spring/summer 2017. Around 80 locations that are on the proposed route were photographed, from Maardu to the Latvian border.
